Many of these early Metallica photos are unpublished. They are true photographs, not magazine clippings or digital reproductions. I acquired many of them directly from the fans & photographers that photographed Metallica during their early days.
Early concert photos are scarce. It wasn't easy to photograph from the crowd during a show. Some of the photos were taken by their long time friend "Harold O" (Omen) when the band was just hanging out and having fun.
