Early stuff:
Here's some early Metallica items. There's a few high school yearbooks, some Metal Militia stuff, a Ride The Lightning backstage pass & a scarce Metallica rehearsal tape.
Metallica High School Yearbooks
This is 1978 high school yearbook from James Hetfield & Ron McGovney's school. James is top center in the 1st photo and Ron is bottom right in the 2nd photo.
James & Ron were best friends early in high school.
James also played on the Freshman football team.
They misspelled his name on the football photo.
He wore # 66 (probaly would have added another 6 if he could).

James last year in this school was as a Junior in 1980.

1983 Metallica Metal Militia membership form & Metal Militia Certificate of Membership.
This membership form is postmarked Nov. 21, 1983 and it only costs $5 to join.

Ride The Lightning Tour items
1984 Ride The Lightning Tour backstage pass.
This came from a good friend of Metallica that toured with them quite often.
Ride The Lightning rehearsal tape from Frankfurt, Germany on July 8th, 1984.
This tape is an unreleased recording.
I have not been able to locate any other copies.
It came from a very good friend of the band.
